Sanremo, the elegant, world renowned tourist centre, just a stone's throw away from Monte Carlo and Cote d'Azur, is located in a big inlet between Capo Nero and Capo Verde, and boasts mild climate throughout the year.

It is a town to be explored: Starting from the medieval town centre of "La Pigna", to the sea village of Porto Vecchio, where taverns, fish mongers and elegant restaurants serve the catch of the day. There is also the modern town (19th/20th) characterised by luxurious villas and wonderful parks, and the town centre where one can indulge in quality shopping in the elegant boutiques or the colourful street market of Piazza Eroi Sanremesi. All surrounded by the precious and superb luxurious vegetation of exotic and Mediterranean plants.

Sanremo is also a social hub thanks to the events held there throughout the year: The Italian Song Festival, the Flower Parade, the Classicissima Milano Sanremo cycling race, the Rallye Sanremo, and the magical and seductive evenings at the Casino, undisputed reign of gambling tables, roulettes and slot machines.

For sports enthusiasts the town offers facilities of great appeal: an 18-hole golf course and a 9-hole golf course, both featuring country clubs and opening all year round, the Solaro horse riding field with horse-riding school and stables, tennis courts and mini-golf.

Sanremo's cycle track, which is around 24km long, is located in the coastal park of Ponente Ligure, by the seaside, nestled between the Mediterranean maquis and the Riviera gardens, and is ideal for a leisurely walk along the coast or to reach the entrance to the hinterland valleys.

The sea is magnificent with its large, sandy beaches and the endless opportunities if offers for various types of sports: fishing, diving, rowing, sailing, surfing and two equipped tourist harbours.
